Applications from all the eligible and desirous Indian citizens for admission to the Himachal Pradesh Administrative Service (HPAS) Etc. Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination followed by (Main) written examination and viva-voce test for recruitment to the posts/services to be filled in on the basis of HPAS. Etc. Combined Competitive Examination, 2008. The details of the posts/services is as under.
* Himachal Pradesh Police Service : 09 posts, Class-I Gazetted, Pay Scale : Rs.7880-13500/-
* Excise and Taxation Officer: 05 posts, Class-I Gazetted, Pay Scale of Rs.7000-10980/-
* Age : 21-35 years as on 01/01/2007.
* Qualification : A candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent from a
recognised University.
Premilinary Exam : Initially, a (Preliminary) objective type of examination consisting of 2 papers based on multiple choice questions will held.
