The IITM is looking for recruiting bright talented candidates of Indian origin for the following positions:

* Scientist `E` - 3 Posts (Unreserved)
Scale of Pay: Rs. 37400-67000, Grade Pay Rs. 8700/- plus allowances admissible to Central Govt. employees stationed at Pune (Total emoluments at minimum of the scale presently amount to Rs. 66478/- approx.).

* Scientist `D` - 6 Posts ( 5 Posts for general candidates and one post reserved for Hearing handicapped)
Scale of Pay: Rs. 15600 – 39100, Grade Pay Rs. 7600/- plus allowances admissible to Central Govt. employees stationed at Pune (Total emoluments at minimum of the scale presently amount to Rs. 35334/- approx.).

* Scientist `C` - 6 Posts (5 posts for general candidates and one post reserved for Orthopedic Handicapped)
Scale of Pay: Rs. 15600-39100, Grade Pay Rs. 6600/- plus allowances admissible to
Central Govt. employees stationed at Pune (Total emoluments at minimum of the scale presently amount to Rs.33974/- approx.).
