Applications are invited from the citizens of India for the following Faculty posts on the prescribed proforma by 02/01/2009. Last date for receipt of applications for the candidates residing in far-flung areas is 17/01/2009 :
(A) Department of Medical Education, HP
1. Assistant Professor : 04 posts (Dental), Pay Scale : Rs.16350-20100/-, Age : 45 years
2. Professor : 04 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.Rs.18600-22100/-, Age : 45 years
(B) Deparment of Higher Education, HP
1. Lecturer (College Cadre) : 78 posts in various subjects reserved for PH persons belonging to HP, Pay Scale : Rs. 8000-13500/-, Age : 45 years.
Fee : In the shape of Bank draft in favour of Secretary, H.P. Public Service Commission for Rs. 250/- only, (Rs.63/ for SC/ST/OBC of H.P.only), payable at Shimla to the Secretary ,HPPSC, Nigam Vihar , Shimla-171002 (HP). Ex-servicemen unless discharged at their own request before completion of normal tenure, are exempted from payment of application fee. Visually handicapped candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
